This week:
- Do some sight-reading: pick pieces from pages 36 and 37 and try to play them without working out every note first
- Conquest, m.5-12 (violins) and m.21-29 (cellos)
- Keep working on Shake the Papaya Down

Hello! This week:
Hello! Homework this week:
Hello! We covered lots of really important concepts this week. The videos are pretty long because they recap everything - so stick with it! Here are the key ideas to understand:
This week, I asked students to take an in-depth look at the actual notes they play when they place their fingers in certain positions on the fingerboard. We are about to learn some new fingering patterns, enabling us to play a larger number of notes and a wider range of music! Knowing precisely how the music they see relates to what their fingers must do will really help in the future, and also make them more advanced musicians. Homework this week is to complete the chart. I will post an answer key in the comments on Tuesday afternoon so you can double check if you're correct! Replacement PDFs are attached just in case. ![]()
